If I were in charge of the world
I'd cancel crunchy peanut butter,
physical activity,
bad thoughts and also
the evening news.

If I were in charge of the world
there'd be happy memories shared by all,
more popcorn,
and more time would be spent playing games.

If I were in charge of the world
you wouldn't have school.
You wouldn't have weekdays
You wouldn't have a bad time.
Or "You have to follow the rules."
You wouldn't even have rules.

If I were in charge of the world
a cow would be a vegetable.
All movies would feature Toby McGuire.
And a person who sometimes forgot to tie their shoes
would still be allowed to be
in charge of the world.
